Accommodation
If you have not booked any accommodation yet you might want to do this sooner rather than later as it is the Queens Diamond Jubilee weekend and therefore a lot of people are taking advantage of the long weekend with a magical trip to Doncaster!
We have had a few questions about the wedding and have tried to answer the general ones below.
Are children welcome?
yes, yes, yes it is a child friendly wedding and we will be providing entertainment and wooden floors to skid along!There will be a separate room with toys and a napping area for when it all gets too much (probably full of tired parents and no children).
How far from Doncaster is the Church and Reception?
The Church is about 9 miles from Doncaster and about 3 miles from Thorne. The reception is about 10 miles from Donacaster and 2 miles from Thorne.
How much would a taxi be from Doncaster to the Church?
A taxi should be around £10 each way. We will be putting up taxi phone numbers nearer to the time.
Is there a pay bar?
We will be setting up our own free diy bar which will provide soft drinks, wine and beer throughout the day and night but you are more than welcome to bring your favourite tipple along as we will not of thought of everything.
