If you are coming from the south, we would suggest that you avoid the M1. As veterans of this journey we recommend taking the M11, then the A1 Northbound. At junction 38 join the m18 and then leave at junction 4, following the signs for Hatfield. There are plenty of services on this route.

Head out of the village on the high street towards the marina. Cross over the bridge that goes over the M18 and then take a right into Cemetery road which becomes main road. As main street enters Hatfield Woodhouse, you will see the working mens club on your right. Keep an eye out for the small country lane on your left which goes the village hall.
